Nyx's Revenant Descryptic Abstract

BY Hardikkumar Joshi PUBLISHED Jun 09, 2020

It was the fifth night of the hunt, and he was nearly out of food.

The creatures he could handle but not the temptation to charge his prey, but he knew well enough that often hunters had been misled by the excitement, but he knew better as he had spent countless nights in the forest.

He bowed down and studied the marks on the ground. The prints told him that the hound had been in the meadow a few moments ago and he could sniff her scent from a mile away.

He heard a rustle and threw his hunting knife at the green vine between the trees. Irileth slowly made his way to the vine to find a white liquid flowing from the ripped vine and the knife stuck at the head of a venomous snake. Silendras took out a small cup to contain some of the liquid as well as some of the snake’s venom and covered it up with a piece of clothing, then kept it in his pocket. He shed some drops of it onto his arrows.

The arrows fizzled when the drops touched them. He took another hunting knife and sharpened the tips of the arrows.

Sliendras cautiously took steps in the direction of the meadow and slowly made his way deeper into the forest.

Mark brought out a small pouch from the bag and tied it to his belt and started lying the rope attached to the pouch on the forest floor and tied one end of the rope between the trees.

The prints on the floor were still fresh, and he continued to follow him, but he also noticed some strange prints as well.

The prints were larger, wider and deep, but were led into an irregular pattern. He decided to be more cautious and followed the prints, keeping his eye trained on his surroundings. Every once in a while, he caught a flicker of movement from the corner of his eyes and heard soft thuds.
